Antoni Grgurovic is the founder of Dalmatian Consulting, a private digital reputation and AI visibility advisory. He advises founders, principals, executives, and public figures on the digital record surrounding their names across search, media, and artificial intelligence systems. The firm operates between Manila and Zadar and serves clients in the United States, Southeast Asia, and Europe.
Grgurovic did not arrive at reputation work through marketing or public relations. He was trained as a technical writer, producing documentation for industrial manufacturers and engineering teams in environments where accuracy, structure, and clarity were operational requirements rather than stylistic preferences.
He holds an M.S. in Scientific and Technical Communication from the University of Minnesota and a B.A. in English and Creative Writing from the University of Arizona. He spent his career in industrial and engineering documentation, most recently as an Advanced Digital Content Engineer at 3M and earlier at Bosch Automotive Service Solutions. He has also written automotive journalism, contributing news, reviews, and long-form features to Motor1.com.
That work shaped how he understands information systems. Documentation is written to be parsed, reused, and trusted by readers who will not ask a follow-up question. Ambiguity in a technical document produces a failure downstream. He applies the same standard to digital identity.
Dalmatian Consulting was founded in 2025. Its premise is that the first assessment of a person now happens before any introduction, and increasingly it is assembled by a machine.
Investors, journalists, recruiters, and prospective partners research people through large language models before they open a website or review a profile. Those systems build answers by comparing sources across publications, company records, interviews, professional biographies, structured data, and third-party references. When the available sources are thin, inconsistent, or disconnected, the output fails in predictable ways. Systems merge people who share a name. They omit significant work. They date a career to whichever employer left the largest public trace. They compress an under-documented person into a smaller version of that person.
Grgurovic's position is that the most consequential reputation problem is rarely a scandal. It is being under-defined. Absence is not neutral. A system asked to describe someone it cannot resolve returns something vague, and vague reads as unremarkable.
The firm's work runs through the Principal Reputation Architecture Program, a four-phase private advisory framework: a confidential exposure review, an authority foundation built on official identity and owned assets, credible third-party narrative development, and ongoing reputation protection.
The sequence is deliberate. Diagnosis precedes construction. The program does not attempt to influence AI systems through promotional volume. It improves the quality, consistency, and verifiability of the information those systems already read.
Dalmatian Consulting is named for Dalmatian Air Co., the New York HVAC business founded by Grgurovic's father, a Croatian immigrant who built the company through direct relationships, consistent service, and word of mouth.
The lesson carried forward. What changed is where the first layer of trust now forms. His father established credibility face to face. That still decides business. It now happens after a machine has already offered an opinion.
Grgurovic writes long-form profiles of founders, investors, artists, and operators, published on the firm's site and on Medium. The subjects vary. The interest is consistent: how people who have built something real are understood by people who have not met them.
